Sony F3

The Sony F3 is a Super 35mm Digital Cinema Camera recording 1920x1080 XDCAM EX to internal solid state cards, or uncompressed 1920x1080 to any external HDSDI recorder or (optionally) S-log 444 uncompressed HD to a suitable external HDSDI recorder.

1-30fps in 1080p, 1-60fps in 720p. Nominal EI 800.

Sony’s new little brother to the F35, this is the perfect camera for lower budget productions looking to step up to the 35mm look without requiring a large camera body or huge amounts of media. It's perfect for documentaries or guerilla crews.

Red MX

Red MX is an Academy 35mm Digital Cinema Camera (Super 35 in 4.5K 2.4:1 mode) with a 4K sensor, recording compressed RAW to solid state disks, CF cards, or proprietary external hard drives.

1-30fps in 4K, even higher in 3K and 2K modes (windowed, max fps 120fps in 2K 2:1)

The new Mysterium-X sensor in the Red MX has a vastly reduced noise floor compared to the original Red One sensor - we rate the camera now at EI 500, but you might be surprised at how good EI 1600 looks!
